Lovely staff. They couldn't do enough for us. Room was small but adequate for our needs with a fantastic view. We were offered a bigger room for a bigger price when we checked in but we didnt require. A sea view was what we wanted & it didnt disappoint. We could lay on the bed with the window open and hear the waves breaking onto pebble beach! The soap in bathroom smelt devine! Breakfast was delicious and served until noon! Bed was very comfortable. A throughly enjoyable stay in this historic property! Would stay again without hesitation! The food in the bar was nice and the selection of drinks was amazing! I have never saw a better stocked bar in my life! The off street parking was worthwhile. We were there off peak and there was amble space in the road but I would say busier times of the year you would be stuck so definitely recommend the 10 euro per day to park at the side of hotel.

This boutique Hotel was in a perfect location which was right on the promenade and opposite the pebble beach. The staff were extremely friendly and it was immaculately clean throughout the entire building which included the Caffee Vergnano, Wildes Bar and their Indian Restaurant. There is also a Kebab shop under the hotel too. The rooms and hotel were beautifully decorated and very modern yet kept some period features. We stayed 2 nights and on the second day our towels and bathrobes were changed and the room was cleaned. There is onsite parking available (£10 for 24hrs) which was greatly appreciated as it’s pay and display everywhere.

As cold and stormy as it was outside - we were welcomed in the complete opposite manner: warmly and so kindly! The staff immediately offered us warm coffee and checked us in. The downstairs dining and restaurant area is lovely and has interesting bits (photographs & a guestbook dating back to 1882) for those who wish to know more about it's rich history. The room had a (tiny, but there) sea view which we loved, and it was clean and comfortable after our long journey. We would definitely stay here again, and like we said to the staff upon leaving: the only thing we didn't like - is that our stay was so short.

The location of the hotel was great, right on the seafront. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, including the night porter who had to close the door behind us when we checked-out at 5am for our early flight home. Our room was comfortable with a side view of the sea. The bathroom was small but clean and sufficient for what we needed for 1 night. We also ate at The Curry Leaf which is downstairs in the hotel and the food was absolutely delicious. Having parking on-site was also a bonus, given the busy seafront location. Thank you

Janet

Great location, directly across from the promenade and only about a 10-minute walk from the train station. Staff were friendly during check-in and throughout our stay. We went to the main bar for lunch on arrival, the Indian restaurant for dinner that night, and the café for breakfast the next morning. All food was great and it was brilliant to have so many options on the one property so we didn't have to go out in the rain.
